H.O.P.E. was organized to perform charitable activities in the local communities, including but not limited to providing housing assistance for homeless students (as defined by the McKinney Vento Act), such as emergency housing, transitional and/or temporary housing; offering financial support for school programs that serve low income families or underserved families, and supporting other community programs that manage outreach services to families and individuals who are unemployed or underemployed, including veterans and the elderly.
There are 115,000 homeless students in the State of Texas, and almost 400 of those reside in Bastrop County, Texas. We have committed to the monumental task of making sure no student in Bastrop County is without a home. We are looking for donations of money, land, housing, and all manner of financial support to accomplish what must be done in our county to keep our students safe and in a home. No donation is too small. No donation is too large
Whether you help through monetary donations, volunteering your time, or spreading our mission through word-of-mouth, thank you. We couldn't accomplish our goals without the help of supporters like you.
Your generous gift will help us fund our mission to help those in need. Together, we can make a difference.
